This August, I am offering a small pilot workshop exploring dreams through arts-based practice, alongside phenomenological, transpersonal and embodied approaches.

This workshop has been designed for Creative Arts Therapists who are curious about how dreamwork might enrich their practice and offer clients an additional pathway for self-inquiry, symbolic expression and creative insight.

Together, we will engage in a series of experiential processes, including image-making, movement and embodied techniques, sensory-based art responses, creative reflection and peer dream exploration. This is not focused on interpretation. It is about working with dreams in a process-oriented and emergent way, which allows meaning to unfold slowly through artmaking, embodied understanding and shared inquiry.

Practices may include:

  • Symbolic image-making

  • Exploration of universal dream patterns

  • Embodied responses to dream material

  • Sensory-based artmaking (“sensory mapping”)

  • Reflective writing and gentle movement

  • Peer dream witnessing and non-interpretive dialogue

This is the first time I am offering this workshop in a professional development context. It will be held in the spirit of exploration and offered as a soft invitation to help shape what this offering might become in the future.
