NDIS and Creative Arts Therapy
Creative Arts Therapy services provided by Seedpod Creative Arts Studio fall under Improved Daily Living – Therapy Supports. If you have funding available in your plan for Improved Daily Living, please feel free to get in touch and we can chat about how I can best support you.
My approach is trauma-informed, neuroaffirming, and grounded in collaborative, person-centred practices.
As a registered Creative Arts Therapist (AThR) with a professional membership with ANZACATA, I am able to offer individual art therapy sessions to plan-managed and self-managed participants. Creative Arts Therapy supports individuals and groups to build capacity and independence for community participation and daily life. It can help develop personal agency and increase emotional regulation and psychosocial functioning.
I have a particular interest in supporting NDIS participants living with psychosocial disabilities, including CPTSD, ABI (Acquired Brain Injury), bipolar presentations, and other long-term mental health challenges..
Collaboration with your care team is available as needed, including progress notes, support letters, and reports for reviews.
I adhere to the NDIS Code of Conduct and ANZACATA’s professional standards. As a Professional Member of the Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapy Association (ANZACATA), I strive to uphold quality while working alongside NDIS participants toward their goals.
What I offer:
I work in alignment with NDIS goals and tailor sessions to support psychosocial capacity building, emotional wellbeing, and self-development.

Important note
In new NDIS plans, if Therapy Supports are available, NDIS has confirmed you will be able to access Art Therapy. Some Support Coordinators and Plan Managers may be unaware of this. Before commencing services it is important to confirm with them that you will be able to access Art Therapy services. If required I have a letter that can support you in this
