NDIS and Creative Arts Therapy
Neurodiversity-affirming · Trauma-informed · LGBTQIA+ welcoming · Self- and plan-managed NDIS participants welcome
Creative Arts Therapy services provided by Seedpod Creative Arts Studio fall under Improved Daily Living – Therapy Supports. If you have funding available in your plan for Improved Daily Living, please feel free to get in touch and we can chat about how I can best support you. I am not an NDIS-registered provider.
As a registered Creative Arts Therapist (AThR), I offer individual art therapy sessions to plan-managed and self-managed participants. Creative Arts Therapy supports individuals and groups to build capacity and independence for community participation and daily life. It can help develop personal agency and increase emotional regulation and psychosocial functioning.
What I offer
Individual Creative Arts Therapy for adults
Support toward capacity-building goals: emotional regulation, daily routines/independence, community participation
Collaboration with your care team; progress notes, support letters, and reports for reviews
I adhere to the NDIS Code of Conduct and ANZACATA’s professional standards. As a Professional Member of the Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapy Association (ANZACATA), I strive to uphold quality while working alongside NDIS participants toward their goals.
Important note
Unfortunately, in new NDIS plans Art Therapy must be listed as a stated support to be claimed. Participants with older plans may still be able to access Art Therapy under Improved Daily Living – Therapy Supports; please always check with your plan manager.
Access and outreach
Seedpod Creative Arts Studio is upstairs, so access may be limited for some mobility needs. If you feel drawn to my services, let’s talk. Outreach (me coming to you) may be possible within 20 minutes of Northcote
