Creative Arts Therapy & Counselling for Adults

Neurodiversity-affirming · Trauma-informed · LGBTQIA+ welcoming · Self- and plan-managed NDIS participants welcome

Welcome to Seedpod Creative Arts Studio

There are all sorts of reasons people come to therapy. Maybe you are feeling overwhelmed, navigating trauma or neurodivergence, going through a significant change, or you may simply be finding that something in your life isn't working anymore.

My approach is relational, collaborative and trauma-informed. As a Creative Arts Therapist and registered counsellor, I work flexibly depending on what feels most useful to you. Sessions might be primarily conversational, or we may draw on creative, body-based or somatic approaches as part of the work. You don't need to be artistic, and there's no expectation that you make art.

When working with trauma, I pay particular attention to emotional and nervous system safety, with sessions paced collaboratively and an emphasis on choice and consent.

Ways We Can Work Together

Who I Work With

I support adults navigating:

  • Anxiety, overwhelm, or emotional dysregulation

  • Trauma or complex trauma (CPTSD)

  • Late-identified neurodivergence, or exploring neurodivergent identity

  • Relationship difficulties and recurring relational patterns

  • Periods of transition, grief, or loss

  • Identity exploration and self-understanding

  • Disconnection from creativity, or a longing for self-expression

I also have experience working with adults living with psychosocial disability, chronic illness, ABI and longer-term or complex mental health experiences.

Creative Arts Therapy

Creative Arts Therapy offers another way of exploring experiences that may be difficult to put into words. Art-making, imagery, metaphor and embodied approaches can become part of therapy when they feel useful to you.

Counselling

Talking can be an important part of making sense of what we're experiencing. I offer relational, trauma-informed counselling for adults, with attention to your experiences and how they may also be showing up in the body and nervous system.
