Counselling
Counselling offers a space to talk openly about what is happening in your life. You might have something particular you want to explore, be living with longer-term difficulties, or simply have a sense that things aren’t running as well as they could.
My approach is relational, collaborative and trauma-informed. Sessions are responsive rather than following a set formula, and we can work with whatever feels most relevant as it emerges. We may also pay attention to how experiences can show up in the body and nervous system.
My background as a Creative Arts Therapist informs the way I think and work therapeutically, including an openness to imagery, metaphor and different ways of understanding experience. There is no expectation that counselling sessions involve art-making.
