Create Your Very Own Tool Jar
Now that you have explored the terrains on the Ecology Map and perhaps considered what species (or combination of species) you may be, here is a selection of materials to add to your very own Tool Jar.
Choose carefully, as these will support you on your ongoing journey as you traverse the Arts Therapy Ecology landscape. What do you need to support both yourself and your clients? What materials may be best suited to your type of work and in which scenarios/contexts?
Once you have made your selections, print out the below grid. Cut out what you need and add them to the Tool Jar- old skool collage style! Both the Jar and the grid are easily printable- simply right click and select ‘Print’. Please feel free to add any other items you think you need using your own symbols, sketches or found items. This is just a starter kit.
Once you have completed the collage, you will have your very own Tool Jar to accompany you on your future travels, a reminder of the tools that can support you.

Right-click on the Jar image to open in a new tab and then print at 140% in A4 Portrait (Hot Tip: don’t forget to change your printer settings afterwards!) Alternatively, you can save this image to your desktop and simply print.

Now you just need to find some scissors and glue- happy collaging!!
